For the purposes of this article, a system is a set of procedures or processes implemented in order to reach a goal or objective.

There are 4 components to any system:

  1. Every system starts with an outcome, purpose or goal (This must be clearly stated and measurable.)
  2. One person must take ownership of meeting the outcome. This means the measurement must be clearly communicated between the other team members that may be involved.
  3. There must be consistent results with the path or procedure chosen or the system needs to be modified.
  4. The system must be bigger than the individual so a good system will be able to be duplicated.

Remember - Systems need to be simple. The simpler the better in order to avoid chaos which is sometimes seen in government and businesses of all sizes.

To determine where systems need to be created and implemented focus on your key foundation systems in life which would include:

  • ·    Finance

  • ·    Time Management

  • ·    Health

  • ·    If you are micro managing any area of your life or business, this is a good indicator that you need to put a system in place.

Remember - don’t recreate the wheel. Learn the systems that may already be in place in your business and life and follow them to turn the systems into results.

Implement the most important process of all, your Momentum Process.

What do I need to remember to do each day?

·    Growth

·    Contribution

·    Fun

·    Gratitude

Build these into every day of your life for great results and wellbeing!
